From the end of May through today (June 18th) the Bass fishing on bunker schools has been great. The bite has changed from early mornings, to a mid day bite, to most recently the past week was an evening bite. Last night was not the best nights bass fishing at sunset. I was limited to a 20 minute window and could not capitalize on the short attack on a bunker school. We have caught bass up to 30lbs. The blue fishing has been phenomenal. I tend to prefer fishing for the blues mid day. I look for their finning behavior which they do when they are either solar digesting or mating. I have caught up to 30 blues per day.

SPRING 2021 UPDATES
Well, Its been a long winter and I wanted nothing more than to get on the water early...That didn't happen. My marina is putting in new docks with is amazing, but they are not ready as of right now (as I am writing this 5/14/21). To add insult to injury I broke my leg about a month ago. Luckily the bone that is broken is the fibula, which I have learned is mostly not a weight bearing bone. So that means I can walk on it. I have been using an orthopedic walking boot. The Dr. suggested I work on getting myself out of the orthopedic boot and into a pair of high hiking boots that can give me support by June. So I am currently in high hiking boots, and it feels pretty good. I should be good to go in no time.
